Scanned a couple chunks of the Aeneid, my timewaster of choice, looking for something my brain wanted to snarfle around. Dido took For-Frigging-Ever to die. No wonder the Romans were all 'Carthago delenda est'. Dude.
Flicked through YIVO-Bleter and Di Goldene Keyt for interbellum folk variants on a shape-shifting woman. Fruitless. Well, you had your basic and ever-present lilitu, but I wanted a human woman changing shape, not a demon-critter.
Listened to a lot of my available playlist, trying to find something good to write by.
Done some... editing... on the present for my girl, which is now technically belated because I am a sodding perfectionist who can't stop tweaking. I am a tweak twink.
Elgar! I want some Elgar! Failing that, some Rachmaninoff! Bring me it!
....seriously. If anyone has the Du Pre Elgar, would you slap it up on Yousendit? For lo, I crave it for writing.

My human likes words.
I like food in my bowl. Dark!
