Upside: I'm pleased with what I've done.
Downside: It's not for my novel.
No, that couple of hundred words is strictly for private consumption.
*shoots self, possibly in foot*
Sometimes I hate my exquisite sense of craftspersonship.
And it started from something I said in chat with my girlfriend last night, of all the inexplicable...
Maybe I could tweak it a bit. Or tweak something. I don't know! I have no idea. But I'm alone in the house again tonight -- such marvelous peace! So maybe something will come of that.
And in between, I'm having dark, horrible thoughts of drowning and Indonesia. My head is a scary place. Meep!
