selkie at 12:50am on 27/05/2005I have just seen the Firefly movie, Serenity. It is possibly the least serene thing I've ever seen. ( Could someone please tell me why the Chinese are running shit? )
The fans were part of what made the experience really enjoyable. There were fan-made stickers and t-shirts and wanted posters. There were geeks playing a double chess board. And Merry and Pippin drove up from Maryland to scalp tickets. Well, I think their names were actually something and Brian, but they danced and capered and they were very Merry and Pippin like, and they got their tickets. And soon, you will see a picture of me and some other people and a really hot actress, in really short shorts, and whose name I completely don't remember. But she played the hot chick!
In short, go see Serenity when it comes out. Because it's like small publishing - it needs support.
