[Bonus: who (or what, really) delivered that line?]
So. Beyond unproductive today because my eyeball is falling out with the itchy and burning. Not pink, or red, just itchy and watery and gooey, and the plain Visine kindly lent to me by my boss is starting to burn when I put it in, as opposed to being vaguely soothing.
I'm leaving early to truck on over to our friend, Arlington Urgent Care. Also probably Costco, to get a prescription for stuff to put in my eye.
Gaaaaah my eye.
I know I'm a big baby. I accept that I'm a big baby. I also compulsively pick and itch at things, so I want to head this off before I do more damage to myself than whatever's in my eye would actually do if I could just leave it alone.
In the 'days you shouldn't get out of bed' department, my Metro card fell out of my bag and was lost this morning. My hair looks patently terrible because apparently it's really dry when not saturated in coffee oil, and I have blisters on my feet that unfortunately match the sandals I'm wearing.
It's really sad when leaving work early isn't even fun. But maybe I'll get to meet up with
lunamystic and
malachan before they leave, which was uncertain before.
