On the cusp of the season of cookie production, three office parties (beginning Friday afternoon), and wrapping and stashing all those things we shopped for, is it unnatural that all I want to do tonight is go home, fix something inane for dinner, and hope Animaniacs Volume II has arrived in the mail before I collapse on the couch with my spouse?
