The Stars and the Cookie Jar

Back from simcha. norimbrie was gorgeous in her dress, and kraada looked surprisingly groomlike. :)

Dead now. Saw a delightful laundry list of people with whom we always mean to keep more contact, but then six months or a couple years go by and there has to be another simcha to bring us all together. There was a sovay and a nuqotw and a terriqat and her husband, shirei_shibolim and some people who were very enjoyable but whose LJs I don't know. Soon pictures will be uploaded, I'm sure, but for now we're packing up for the drive home tomorrow.

At least we get a four-day work week out of it?

Seriously, it was a beautiful wedding. It's the first time I've seen the groom look happy without a single trace of irony. And the colors were lovely and the location was great and the brisket was tasty and kraada did us all the big damn favor of getting through the birkat hamazon faster than anyone I've ever heard.

Come on, you always think the same thing at weddings.

And then they're going to PERU. How exciting is that? I mean, malaria pills, but exciting!
