Today is so, so fired

Drank from a cup of coffee way older than I thought. Ended up puking four hours later. Bath mat, shower curtain, PJs, floor, wall... Add a subcategory to "laundry my daughter has whizzed on' : things mama has projectile vomited on. Sorry for the overshare, but I have never had that happen before. Came down for water (water, water, water) and found coffee mug culprit, now cheese-tastic. UGH. So either I cultured it with something fascinating, or it was sour and I was too tired to notice.

Broke my toe on the TrippTrapp.  Not even sure how I broke THAT toe. It now looks like it is hitchhiking.

Had to go seriously ballistic on homophobic asshole at Target. Had to deal with SuperEthiopianChristian cashier telling me that since the right thing happened in the end, I should just let it go. Called executive customer service in the end, in case you wondered.

Infanta spitting up like MAD. Tried gas drops, boobie milk, gas drops in soy formula, other formula, ReadyFormula in case, I don't know, the Brita failed at being a Brita, more boobie milk. BABY ASLEEP NOW. 

Inflicted whole thing on LJ.

Still not having as bad a day as this woman.

In the TrippTrapp's defense, she didn't actually break it on the high chair. She broke it on the foot stool to the freaking Poang.

Weird pregnancy is definitely weird, but a bit sad, to think of infant growing up in a knife-fighting family. Re: toe, tape it to adjacent toe(s). I do that sort of regularly.

Glad everything else is relatively OK; I meant to comment earlier on your blessed event but hadn't got round to it! Congratulations, you will never get enough sleep AGAIN!! :D

- Reflux?
- Allergies?
(Those two aren't mutually exclusive)

- Pyloric stenosis? (But only if it's real projectile vomiting.)

Possibly reflux, but don't think so. Nor allergies. As it does vary with what she's eating, but the ingredients of what she's eating doesn't vary (if that makes sense. it does in my head.) Not THAT projectile, thankfully.

We switched it to the ones that we suspected were better and she's kept most of her food down today. We're 99% sure it's just that her belly's not ready for actual baby food yet, so have to stick with the pre-prepared stuff and the stuff with partially broken down stuff.

ye gods, I would love a tripptrapp.

boyo spit up an insane amount for the first seven or 8 months. Like, we didn't hold the boyo without wearing several burp cloths. we just refilled him with boobie milk and soldiered on.

We got it on Craigslist, bless it. We'd put it on our registry for the 10% off, but got it for $100 less than list price by buying used. Yeah, it's got a couple of scratches, but whatever - I'll save the $100 and take a few scratches.
