10. Gotten up at 3.15 to go to work

I used to have to be at work at 4. So there were many mornings of getting up at 315 or earlier.

I've gotten up at 3:15 to work. (On translations, primarily.) Does that count?

And I once proposed on bended knee to a woman in Paris, with a bunch of flowers bought from a vendor in a parking garage, but that was as a birthday gift.

To the best of my recollection, she laughed and hugged me, and I said, "Is that a yes?"

I haven't gotten engaged to the woman you love, but I did to the one I do. :)

The various hours I have had to get up to go to work range round the clock, so at least a few times 0315 has been the hour of rising.

I can only say I speak four languages, though there are a number I can fake bits and pieces of, and a fifth which is close enough to my fourth that I've never had problems while I was there.

well, like the above, i promise i haven't gotten engaged to the woman you love, but the woman i lov enad i are living in engaged bliss and trying to plan a wedding.

i was in the city-wide scripps howard twice, but then i got out on words i knew how to spell on pure nervousness. bleh.

I haven't done any but 10. Being in the theatre you get up at all sorts of odd hours to work. I once didn't sleep for 48 hours straight, either. That was pure hell.
