Still not dead.

[livejournal.com profile] darthrami is watching 'This Old House'. I am pondering my knitting, and need to do research for my draft fairytale; I feel okay, I guess. No more than the usual apprehensions. I made reduced-fat-and-sugar banana cake for [livejournal.com profile] mearth's brunch event. And I am really, really boring. Y'all all go to your parties without me.

I am knitting a theoretical scarf! It's red with blue stripes, and stripes are the limit of my prowess, but it looks remarkably scarflike. What are you knitting? I'm hoping to work up to a misanthropic yet cuddly afghan.

That cake sounds mega-yummy! Even though less sugar usually wouldn't make me think that. :D Sugar GOOD!! Heh!

And parties? That's crazy talk. Not-working would be ahuge improvement for me. And hey, can you poke your woman for me? I sent her a couple of e-mails asking if she can give my stuff (dvd player power cord, check, glass pan lids) to Tim at the brunch since I've been working every freaking weekend and haven't been able to make it in, but I haven't heard back from her if that's cool. If it works, I'll send her pans and dvds with him, too. THANKS! :)
