A dry wedding? With champagne? Is it non-alcoholic champagne?

Well, no, but it's only one glass per person for the toasts.

About the only input I can offer is copious amounts of envious drool at the fact that this food will be on the other side of the globe from me, and the opinion that white chocolate and lemon cake sounds like the best argument against the Atkins diet ever. Mmm.

Also: a quick and simple way to enliven any occasion is to include tins of that compressed spray-on whipped cream that tastes like sugared shaving foam under the heading of All The Necessary Glop, and then let people put it on their own scones/mouths/hair/clothing. Um. Kidding. Though I did go to a tea party where that happened...

scones/mouths/girlfriends...
yeah, I think that's more like what you do at the bachelorette party, if you have one.

Psst! Can you remind me of the date? I should, like buy a plane ticket while they are still cheap.

Wedding, yay!

Assuming we can afford to hold the thing, it's October 9 in Swarthmore, PA. And yes, you're still invited. :)

Dry is usually better, especially at some weddings where the couple doesn't realize that.

So, what's milchig?

re: Wedding cake. Never, ever will you receive any other answer than "chocolate, dark as possible," from me. Raspberry between the layers is yummy.
