But I WANT a cute little Gurgie like that to sit on my shoulder.
Seriously. I've always thought I had an inner gremlin! Now this good Christian publisher has shown me the light: I do have one! And they're so cute!
What? It's a venomous, narrow, hate-spewing piece of propagandist nonsense, and I do not in fact get a gremlin?
Well, Jesus Christ.

Either that, or she was a crack baby. Yeesh. Can't they at least get well-drawn propaganda? ~shudders~

But seriously, after reading that and the whatever-it's-called Harry Potter parody about how evil and wrong reading-- oops, I mean magic-- is, my estimate of the intelligence of social conservatives has dropped by several Sagans of points. And it was not that high to begin with.

I cruised a few other of his "tracts," and was rendered more or less speechless that any of this is billed as particularly good for children. It's just all so...wrong.

Wrong does not begin to cover that vile, filthy shit. Ugh. I think I have lost my appetite for the month. The reason they can't get well-drawn propaganda is because hate is always ugly. Always.
I did think the demons were kind cute, though. I've probably got a few...wonder if they like cheese puffs.

Is it my imagination or does Larry look like a bad drawing of Hitler, and if so, is the artist trying to subliminally equate fascism/nazism (sic?) and homosexuality and if so, can we sue for defamation or something? (sorry it is late and my punctuation is suffering)
The Pagan part of me is laughing at the drivel. The rest of me is just appalled. I am queasy now. I am going to go have some CHOCOLATE, since it wards off evil according to the Potterverse, and I like that idea.
*hands out chocolate to you all*

Also, in case no one has seen this.
