The Stars and the Cookie Jar

So, the first time my fiancee and I shared a Chinese dinner, we got this fortune. You and your spouse will be happy in your life together. And then I got on a plane back home, and we missed each other a whole lot. But, you know, this was before engagement or anything, so we just thought it was funny.

That fortune is stuck up on our computer monitor.

Tonight, after a Chinese dinner in the apartment which we now share, we settled down after the assorted domestic chores and after all the good programmes on the television and we opened our fortune cookies. I got this fortune. You and your wife will be happy in your life together.
