Just some things that have gone well this week:

-- made Spanish Inquisition Cake for [livejournal.com profile] miraielle's birthday

-- got a deliciously scroobly slice of brie de Meaux for half-price at Dean and deLuca

-- the first fresh cherries of the season! Exorbitantly did I pay for them, too. And that wasn't at Dean and deLuca, it was at the Food Giant.

-- cleaned the bathroom

-- psychotic boss not slated to come within my bubble of sanity until approximately Thursday

-- freshly-made ice cream and fresh strawberries from the local cold-slab creamery last night

-- [livejournal.com profile] wickedtrue!

-- Moby Dick's House of Inexplicably Fabulous-Tasting Kebab and Tehranian Newspaper Clippings

-- A Sundial in a Grave: 1610 (I begin to think I guess the title's meaning, because of what was said a few chapters previously about a sundial actually serving the dark because it depends on shadow.)

-- clean shiny bathroom for guests

...I think all that is enough to counteract the shitpile of suck that is my schedule for the next ten days.

Spanish Inquisition Cake... unexpected, or red and black and officious?

Good luck with the sucky schedule. That, well, sucks.

Swashbuckling! Cross-dressing! Sex! Intrigue! Calculus!

Enjoy 1610. ; )

Totally irrelevant to your post, but the contract we discussed was returned to me today marked postage due. Just to keep you updated. >_

Yeah :( I didn't remember I even had the little orange postage-due slip until the date they said they were sending it back to you. I am so sorry if I increased fretting on your end.

No, you didn't at all :) I'm just upset with the post office for messing this mailing up as badly as they did and then doing nothing for almos a month to fix the problem.
