Today we found a used book store with several of Ursula K. LeGuin's Hainish novels in their original, thin little editions. I gorged my literary self upon them, but the one I'm most pleased to have found is a copy of The Word for World is Forest. I'm finding it to be terribly good.

And it's mine, hahahaha.

Oooooh! Very cool!

I only have said Hainish novels in their more recent collected volumes, so you get three of them to a single book. Yeeesh.

Oooh. That one's probably my very favorite of the old Hainish novels. (Four Ways to Forgiveness is probably my favorite period, but it's from way more recently.) Congrats on the find. :)

I got 'The Lathe of Heaven,', 'The Dispossessed', 'The Wind's 12 Quarters' and 'The Word For World Is Forest'. I'll snag some more for you next time we go back that way, as they were uniformly a dollar.

Good Lord, but those were my favorites back in the day. I'm still on the hunt for The Winds 12 Quarters.
