I spent the 'day' part of today travelling, and working, and realising I am not fit for a level II store. I cannot hack it. Aaaaaagh.
Which is not to say I didn't have a great time getting my geek on, strutting my stuff, banging out the junkies' fixes, etc. I think I put on an excellent show. You have to, when you look like me; people forever judge by size.
Tomorrow, my coffee tasting, and admin stuff, and generally being under the lash all day.
A little bit of asshattery arose when it became clear I knew some things I should not know. Damn. I persisted in "it's good to know how to do everything!" perkiness and I think it went over all right in the end. But I felt like a stupid prat for volunteering myself in the first place.
I spent the remainder of today composing a letter to Samuel Bak . If he is willing to meet with me, I will keel over and I will die. But first his work will illustrate the Vilna Stories.
Getting your geek on is exhausting. ((slump))
Remain amused by Vilna Fandom. Also, shirei's post on Dalwhinnie at Chabad.
