I did the Hoovering!
And two loads of laundry.
Shall we face it? I rule.
(Context: I never ever do the Hoovering. My mother used to run the Hoover to drown out ...less pleasant sounds in our house, and the sound of one tends to affect me profoundly in a bad way and make me slightly manic to cover up the fact that I'm being affected by it. So I can never manage to push the Hoover in straight lines.)
In more than local news, I am going to remove Fiancee's Other Cat's front claws and teeth. She sort of jumps on Bast's back and just rakes, and now Bast has scabs and cuts nearly to her tail. I suspect it got worse while we were away.
And now I go try to write. Heh, it might work. Problem is, I have a head full of story and when I get it onto the computer screen, it all devolves into a sort of ceaseless sameness of tone. Wah.
