oh mazel tov! It sounds lovely. Do you think you'll ever post just a little teaser of the art? Without names or anything that you think is personal, of course. Just to let us see a bit?

Of COURSE I will post the art. :) I want to find a way to show the text that we got, so I'll blur the names.

Dude, the relative excitement makes total sense. I mean, you're totally going to write lots more books...

You are getting me all excited about the wedding. Do you guys have a registry or a wishlist so I can do something with my excitement?

Yay! It makes me happy that you're so pleased, honey. I'm glad that your ketubah is perfect, and your joy is infectious. *warm hug*

I'm sorry for the utter randomness, but what exactly is a ketubah? :)

A ketubah is a Jewish contract of marriage, which may seem a little mercenary, but nowadays (if you don't get the standard traditional text) it's a document that allows you to firmly (and legally) bind each other to promises you want to make for life. They usually go in a prominent place in the newly married couple's home -- like the living room wall -- and so many of them are works of art. Ours has sliver calligraphy on a deep blue background with lighter-blue Moorish flourishes. It's SO PRETTY. *runs off to find picture to post*

I saw this in Scotland, where I did not actually have enough Internet time to comment, but...

YAY Ketubahs! Yay no calligraphic mistakes and tearing up from happiness!
