Here's the stock image of our ketubah,
mostly because it looks crappy when we unroll it and try to get a
picture from a decent height of the real thing. It's much prettier in
person -- the flourishes you can barely see are picked out in pale blue
and silver, and the 'points' have the 'I am my beloved's...' verses on
them. And the artist, Mickie Caspi, was extremely good with all the
various changes you have to make to the stock calligraphy when two
women are getting married, one of them doesn't want her father named,
and it's all taking place in a Presbyterian church. It
really is the most beautiful document I have ever seen. I'm having a
severe problem not, like, slipping out of bed in the middle of the
night and unrolling it to gaze at it and pet it. It's also large, about the size of a normal picture for putting on the wall. (Isn't that specific?)

Also, congrats in a more mundane vein for finding an artist and an officiant who are willing to work with a nontraditional couple.
