The Stars and the Cookie Jar

I had a decent weekend, except for the food poisoning (mild) and the bank angst (extreme). Man, I hate Bank of America. I hate them so much. Apparently, my account is 'closed to debit transactions', which basically means my rent cheque is going to bounce unless I can get this sorted out today.

The funny part is that my account, for once in my life, is quite solvent.

But because of their asinine asshattery, my cheque-writing privileges have been revoked at the little Korean market downstairs in our building (very useful when you need $5 cash back for laundry) and ... yeah... rent check. And the thing is, I suspected some kind of routing problem/check discrepancy/vague fraud on Wednesday of last week, so I called twice and both times was told 'everything's fine!' The little problem of funds being blocked from leaving my account even though the funds are present wasn't discovered until I spoke to a senior customer service person on Sunday afternoon.

The cheques aren't even bouncing honourably. There is little shame left in me over a bounced cheque. They aren't ever even being submitted to my account!

So there is much wailing, and much projected wasting of my lunch hour.

But there was also fun consumerism and lots of napping.

Does anyone know who you see about recurring nightmares? Not the same nightmare recurring, just, like, a nightmare every night.
