He didn't used to like "Fix", did he? I thought it was the one he unjustly disliked.

I think it was the one he didn't want to publish as part of the triptych because he liked the promise of The Seal Wife so much more. On its own, he snapped it right up. And I am happy, because it contains one of my favorite lines in all your work.

I should start charging you an agent's fee. ; )
