So I was just sitting here imaginining that it was six o'clock [livejournal.com profile] darthbast in her own tiny biplane, like the Red Baron in the Snoopy comics, off to fly toward evil with her scarf streaming behind her.

And I thought, when the plane was taking off, since it is a tiny Bast-sized biplane, that it would be held steady with king-size chocolate bars instead of, you know, chocks, and so that when you were preparing to fly the tiny plane, you would then call out "Chocs away!"

Yes.
I know.

*cracks up* OMG I love you.

And this is why you need to keep the "strange" in that LJ name of yours, m'dear. [livejournal.com profile] strange_selkie. Because no one else can make you travel the twilight zone like she does. In a tiny biplane piloted by a cat.

That is very bad.

I love word play. I am especially fond of puns, the worse, the better, in truth.

Very, very bad, and we're still chuckling. Thankee. :)

Bast would so kick Snoopy's ass. I can see the bitty little goggles and the dashing scarf now.

They used that joke in Chicken Run.

With Toblerone bars. You know, the triangular ones. That actually look a little like wheel chocks.

:D?

Wow. I remember the takeoff scene, but was not so observant to note that it was 'chocs' and not some pieces of farmyard detritus. *g*
