The Stars and the Cookie Jar

It's hell of a thing to ponder for a Friday afternoon, but I sort of just realised that my life has only been violence-free, as they say in the parlance of outreach and recovery, for a year and a half.

Violence-free for a year and a half.

And I am twenty-six years old.
