My book was noted in Brandeis Magazine. This makes me extremely happy, and could also account for the day last week that my sales were up to 75K on Amazon (as opposed to the more usual uh, add a zero to that number). People opened up their alumni rag and then clicked on over to buy my book.

Hee.

Also, a person in my year turned out totally gay, and married her partner, which shocked me utterly. The things you learn in the alumni rag.

What's the title of your book? I'm interested...

"A Verse from Babylon". I worked a long time on it and am very proud of it, thanks for being interested.

Go go book!

OH! Did I ever tell you?! I found three copies of your book in my university book store! One squished between Stephen King's Dark Tower series. This is, of course, a sign. Or there are lurkers on campus and they were sending me messages through the placing of books.

Oh, I knew her. She lived in a suite with a friend of mine, her senior year. She was dating a woman that year, too, actually.

Congratulations! Now I wish I didn't always throw my copies* away unread . . .

*Of Brandeis Magazine, in case it needs to be clarified. I have both the paperback and the hardcover of A Verse from Babylon and I'm very fond of them, thank you very much!

You didn't miss much -- they condensed the blurb text on the back of the book and added a picture. You should email your alumni notes person and let them know you've been published.
