AAAGH The nostalgia, it KILLS!

*runs away, dragging [livejournal.com profile] sovay , [livejournal.com profile] muchabstracted and [livejournal.com profile] kraada clanking behind like tins tied to a wedding getaway car*

It's time for some existential bedflopping now. You will of course excuse me. I am afflicted with temporary wankitude and longing for my misspent, lost twenties.

Ha. Nostalgia is not what I'm feeling. What I'm feeling is more properly titled "fighting down the memory of watching them simultaneously fight and neck over the dinner table".

Hindsight is always much rosier.

. . . You have no idea how tempting that is . . .

*looks at the 150 logic exams that need to be graded in the next 14 hours*

[is smug]

I lost my 20s in the 80s. We took our cool hair very seriously.

But I'm still only 37.

If you want me to come sing in your bathroom, I'm sure it could be arranged, but your neighbors might hate you for eternity.

. . . Don't I first have to be fictional to be fanfic'd?

Nonsense. It's fiction written about you by your fans. The stuff contained therein would be fictional.

And, um, it would have big red signs so as not to constitutle libel :)

. . . I suppose technically that's one definition of fanfic.

And, um, it would have big red signs so as not to constitutle libel :)

That couldn't hurt either. : P

Actually, when big red signs fall on you, it does in fact hurt. Unless they're made out of balsa wood. But why would you make big red signs out of balsa wood when steel is so much cooler?

Have I mentioned lately that I think your capacity for linear thought descends directly from Groucho Marx?

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west, and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce, they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does.

I am honored.

I shall wear the cross in the pin of my shirt pocket, even though I don't often wear shirts with pockets, I shall in fact make an exception.

Though not an illegal exception, for I am not a fan of PMITA prison. PETA prison I've been too and it's not too nice either, but at least I'm too smart to end up there for long.

So really, it's all just like high school. Except for the broadband. I love my broadband.

Heh. That should be a more popular acronym.

I still think my favorite Joel Extrapolation is the proper farming of Middle Dutch.

I apologize for not reaching my prior heights. However, I must put forth that with 450 logic questions still to grade, and naught but 8 hours to accomplish this feat, it should not surprise mademoiselle that I am far from my peak performance this night. I can but promise that there shall be many more days of rampant silliness in the future. I hope this will abide.

M. Kraada.
