The Stars and the Cookie Jar

My chopped liver was more of a success than last year, which is to say no one eats it but me anyway around here, and I like it better than last year.

I have engineered Pesach dessert goodness at last -- a brownie torte with a nearly unsweetened chocolate ganache. On the second run, I will cut the butter and sugar in the torte -- I had to blot, honestly, so a little too much butter, methinks, a liiiitle too much -- and up the chocolate in the ganache.

And my leg hurts. Tomorrow is Monday! Blah.

We did have a fantastic last-minute dinner with orange852 . It was wonderful.
