...But different from my wife's thoughts on the subject. We are a married unit, but different people. We can do that.

1. Heteronormativity in the media and in politics sucks.
2. Gay Pride Parades are good, but I don't have to go to them. I love that they exist. I also love funnel cakes. I don't need to experience funnel cakes all that often either. Say rather that I enjoy the memory of funnel cakes past, and that allows me to eschew the heat, the crowds, and the scary naked people who make 'us' look bad on the 6:00 news dispatch.
3. All the cultural and religious pressure in the world can't make you be what you're not.
4. No one word can define what you are.
5. I love my wife, and I will fiercely defend my personal right and such narrow civil rights as I have to cherish, respect and protect her for ever and ever, just like I vowed in front of that judge and again in that church.
