The Stars and the Cookie Jar

So, I learned that even when we have horrible, bleached-rage fights, we can discuss things and go back to being us again. And maybe I'm more fiscally adult, but there are things I haven't learned to be adult at yet. And she's good for those things. We spent tonight together watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and it just reminded me (I'm not used to mass media yet, and sometimes it gives me revelations, like I'm Anya on Buffy) that this is the woman I love and we're going to get married, and it's not easy, but I'm learning. We're learning. And someday soon it's going to be the night before my wedding and I'm going to be excited, and apprehensive, and terrified, but sure that I couldn't spend my life without this woman, and nor would I want to.

Tomorrow after work we're going to Alexandria to consider wedding invitations.

And then maybe TJ Maxx or the Glebe Road Goodwill to consider wedding dresses.
