Wife is listening to The Dark Is Rising on cassette in the car. This is somewhat disturbing, because I know the plot so well that based on the 10 minutes of narration I hear in the morning before she drops me at the Metro, I can accurately predict what will have happened by the time she reaches work.

selkiechow. Sorry. I made a devil's food cake over the weekend, but I need to mess with the recipe. To my mind, the cake came out dry and more buttermilk-y than chocolatey.
Oh, and I want to write a short story about a consumptive nihilist.
