Oh I've got a few guesses for sure.
There's no pleasing everyone....ever.

Personally I kinda wish that everything would stay open, but with the understanding that there be no comments underneath. But then I'm of the mind that if you can't say it out loud in a room full of people, then maybe you shouldn't say it at all.

Of course...what my family believes is fit for public consumption is totally different from what other people find tasteful.

I actually commented to the post suggesting screening before even reading the already-posted comments, 'cause I just reckon you get a wider and more honest selection of feedback with the capability of having your comments read only by the one asking. *shrugs*
