I specifically left my debit card at home today so that I could not buy! Emma Donoghue's new book! No! Even though we will be at a bookstore probably!

Also, I was reduced to making my tea with clumpy sugar and powdered milk. I feel like I ought to be in a trench somewhere listening to Minnenwerfers fly overhead while my comrades all get influenza.
