I unwrapped a Harry and David pear from its dainty tissue twists and gold foil just now. (Sorry, Flatmate, you left it too long.)

I set the Harry and David Proprietary Wrapping For Very Expensive Pears aside on my desk, where you can in fact still see it.

And I turned my lovely pear for inspection, and I bit into it. And it was a Harry and David Pear.

And then I saw.

It.

A sticker firmly affixed to the bottom of this lovely and proprietary fruit that said 'Luv'Ya Brand. New Zealand.'

There is no truth in advertising, and mighty Casey has struck out.

But-- did it taste good? Or did you forget how it tasted, when confronted with the Sticker?

:D

Oh, it still tasted lovely! They just tout their American Localness so much. :)
