As unlucky as you are, as driven by the frigid winds of Fortune and November as you may be, you do not have a pair of brand-new, teleporting, poltergeist underwear in your drawer.

... see, I know somebody who needs cheering up.

Except she'd be delighted to have a pair of brand-new teleporting poltergeist underwear in her drawer. So I can't cheer her up with this.

Le sigh.

If it's the underwear she needs, I can send them off in the morning post. They really are quite new, if a little irresponsible.

Well, see. That's the problem. They're new, inexperienced. And that sometimes leads to irresponsibilty.

...Which leads to teleporting repeatedly back into my drawer from random places, even when I've asked everyone whose they could be?

And they're not my wife's ex's undies, either. I've met that one. Yeergh.

Maybe your underwear drawer is like, the hip, happenin' club where all the cool young underwear hangs out, but that particular piece is the vaguely uncool one. Like she can get in, but once she's there she acts all dumb and gets WAY too drunk so all the other underwear leaves her behind when they go home so she's the only one who gets caught. And she wakes up in the morning all hungover and like, "Where am I? Oh, no! I'm still in Selkie's Underwear Drawer! Caught!"

Teleporting underwear sounds like the ideal cat toy. You've got a couple of Cat Army specialists hanging around, don't you? They should be able to deal with this.
