I did. It was that kind of morning. And then, after running to the grocery store once to get the stuff for [livejournal.com profile] innerbrat's mince pies, I had to go back and get... girl stuff. That was when Army Co-Worker pointed out that my shirt was, yes, on backwards.

*headdesk*

Oh, and two-trips-to-the-grocery-store-before-9:00AM later, I forgot the lemon.

I'm not going back for the lemon. We'd better have one in the crisper at home. (I should point out that no one should ever, for any reason including a sudden famine in downtown Alexandria, buy the fresh produce from the grocery store across the way, so perhaps it's just as well.)

My wife really did make my morning, though. She packed my lunch, and as I was running around getting ready and forgetting crucial things, she was bustling around, wearing one of my shirts, assembling tonight's dinner in the slow cooker. It added some tranquility to my day.

Yaaay! :)
Thank you. Do you mind also getting whatever is on the chalkboard in the kitchen, assuming Dr. Snugglepants is helping you carry things?

Welcome! (Well, thank Dad.)

Dad wanted to get them before coming over because my back is still doing bad things, and he will not let me pay him back for any of said groceries (I have been firmly informed), so I am not asking for all things. *admits* But he is getting the press and seal and the toilet paper. He is not good with getting name brands of anything particular, so I did not ask for soap (also I feel better asking for food-things, when that is what he wants to buy) and I did not know what yoghurt to ask for.

It is okay, so long as we have TP. :) Thank you, Dr. Snugglepants!

How did you do up the buttons?

I pulled the buttoned shirt on over my head (it's too large, to fit over my left arm with its unfortunate swelling thing). Apparently I had put it on its hanger inside-out straight from the wash.
