So... some news!

I took the new job. I'm dithering still on the edge between sad to leave the people I'm friends with, and incredibly excited to be doing something that I can finally make a career out of, be excited over, and someday make a chunk more money doing.

Benefits are about the same, and it's 45 minutes closer to home.

Now to enjoy the rest of my lame duckhood.

I'm a total lame duckie, myself! It's completely awesome. Especially since my boss excepts nothing of me. Whoo-hoo! LOL!

Thanks! It's a very thinky job, which I believe I'll enjoy. I hate to hop jobs so soon, but I've learned about myself and the conditions I need in a Grownup Job, so hopefully I'm making a good, clear-headed move. Also, Where You and I Currently Work is very far from Where I Live. :)

Ooh, I met Developer A.T. as I was walking to work yesterday. It made me miss you. You need to come out to the Ass End of Beyond and have a bottle of wine with us!
