Puppers Enterprises Pty Ltd would like to welcome you to the  JACK RUSSELL SPA EXPERIENCE.

Your personal Jack Russell shower attendant will LEAP into the RUNNING SHOWER because there's WATER  there and you might get WET ARRRGH!

He will start licking your toes and ankles frantically because can't you see they are WET ARRRGH!!?

He will circle you! In! And out! Of the RUNNING SHOWER! Because of the RUNNING SHOWER you'll keep being WET ARRRGH!

He will catch the bad evil spray of WATER because he is BRAVE and the WATER is making you WET ARRRGH!

...You will cut short your shower without washing your hair, dry off and return your sodden Jack Russell to the bath-mat, where he will proceed to lick and lick and lick your ankles because they are WET. ARRGH.

hee-- how lucky you are to receive such devoted protection. I recommend a Husky-- they are not protective. You must live with your own choices, they say. Plus, they avoid up-and-down water. Horizontal water is OK, because it's probably just a puddle in the spring icepack, but UP-AND-DOWN water is not to be tolerated. You will be allowed your shower in peace while the Husky waits, DOWNSTAIRS, and wonders about your sanity.

LOL. My cat DC just likes to bust the bathroom door open with his head (I have to lock it to keep it shut) and yell at me as soon as I get out of the shower!

HAHAHA! That's AWESOME! Buck won't come in the shower to rescue me because he's too scared of the water (clearly not as brave as Benton), but he loves to start 'drying off' my feet and ankles as soon as I get out. Hee!

My mother's cat used to wait until she took a bath, whereupon she would perch inquisitively on the rim of the bathtub, bat at the water with an exploratory paw, and then finally slip into the tub: at which point a sort of water-lily of loose fur would explode across the surface of the water, and my mother would hastily vacate the bath.
