selkie at 06:55pm on 24/02/2008My wife made her American Wellingtons tonight with some of the Mystery Beef. They were so, so, so good. So trayf, so tasty. She makes delicious fromage fort to spread inside the puff pastry, and it was just. Perfect this time. Better than any of the three or four previous times. :)
WHY IS ALL THE DINNER GONE.
Also, I was taking out the trash and it really irks me that most of our trash is composed of non-recyclable packaging for other things. The foil-and-plastic bag from some Trader Joe's gnocchi, e.g. Or... the plastic bag the organic carrots came in. Seriously, organic carrots can't come with a sisal band around? We recycle like mad, and we have extremely little food waste, and it takes us two weeks to fill up a bag of trash and blah, blah, I just feel like this shouldn't be so COUNTERINTUITIVE.
But seriously. Dinner. So good.
