IT SEEMS I DO NOT HAVE A PIE TIN.

WTF I HAD A PIE TIN LAST YEAR.

WTFF I KNOW WE BROUGHT THE PIE TIN BACK FROM MAKING FATHER IN LAW'S MINCE PIE.

*calmly resumes flinging tartlet-shell pans, patty-pans, nine-inch cake tins, eight-inch cake tins, a flute-edged tart form and a springform round*

Whut?
I have pie tins. But not those other things. No, wait, maybe they're cake pans. I don't know the difference!

Throughout the post I read it as "tie-pin," which did not help.

I have a pie tin. And I am such a generous and lovely person that I will lend it to you even if you are going to contaminate it with mince pie or some other fruitcake relative. ;)

I improvised in this case, because She Who Must Be Obeyed requested a pumpkin pie. It is deep-dish pumpkin pie, because in the end I went for the eight-inch cake pan. You see, I didn't check for a pie tin before making the pumpkin custard and preheating the oven.
