So. Vacation has meant not posting, and I'm not going to post now, really, since I am in a library and small summer-vacationy children are circling me for a chance at this computer (a Dell from when I was in high school, and every bit as fast as a hippo with two broken legs).

Suffice it to say that I am having the time of my life, and am seriously considering seeking better work that would allow me to be here. It is so peaceful. Also, the climate makes me a lot happier.

Observations for some later point will include: the Manalapan Simcha And Other Stories, What I Ate On My Summer Vacation, Selkie On the Beach, and How It Really Happened In Vilna. I have journalled about all these things in my notebook... I just can't sit here typing about them right now.

I have strawberry-rhubarb fool at home, made with our rhubarb, our strawberries, and our cream. And organic sugar, since we cannot exactly grow that.

Oh, hey, if you were at The Wedding and you want to know what kind of pics I have, let me know; I am considering schlepping myself down to Wal-Mart (gick) and having them put on CD for ridiculous-cheap, if other people want them. At any rate, there will be a huge friendslocked post, most likely.

I look like a complete cow in pictures.

Moototoi.

Ooh, pictures! (Feels ridiculous that I failed to acquire batteries for my camera before attending said wedding, and meeting you, for that matter.) That said, I've actually met you now, so under my strange internal rules, I can add you to my friends list. Is this permissible?

Hey, Maya. Yes, you may add me! :) Well, my two disposable cameras didn't do so incredibly well -- I have lots of shadowy pictures! But some of them -- about twenty out of 54 exposures, sad -- came out well.
