Hmm.

Woke up from a dream containing in no particular order:

-- a male rusalka

-- a pocket-size triptych ikon containing (somehow) a concealed brass bell

-- a Faberge surprise locket containing another locket inside another locket inside an amber too large for the initial locket

-- the Transsib

-- covert but tonsured monks, and yes, I do know Eastern monks don't wear the tonsure

-- the male rusalka's really big lake (you know what they say about size?)

I'd write this, but I'm pretty sure [livejournal.com profile] sovay or [livejournal.com profile] yuki_onna  already has. Sigh.

And one of the covert monks was working as a jeweller in this souk...

Even if she had, I'd argue there is no reason to limit the number of stories about male rusalkas, covert tonsured monks, the Transsib, lockets that break the laws of physics and really big lakes.

This is also true.
