What does a nine-year-old boy eat?
Anything he wants.
This is posing a bit of a problem, as I've spent $80 in groceries since I've been here and I can't keep doing that. He just keeps eating my food. I have nonperishables in a locked cupboard, but my diet doesn't actually include a lot of nonperishables. He ate two pounds of cherries, a pound of grapes and three nectarines, all mine, over the weekend; this is not cheap stuff. He wanders in here -- my family shares a several-level house, ostensibly cut into private apartments -- while I'm at work, and he picks the fridge.
I can't do my marketing daily, because of work, doctors and transpo issues.
Help...
Oh, but I love my new store. So shiny. So clean. So well-fucking-trained.
And the people put the money in your hand.

(Hello! Welcome to Massachusetts! Glad you got here safely, and that the store is improved.)

And this boy, does he have parents who can be sternly told off? Maybe a locked box in the fridge would get the point across. Food stealers make me growl.

Or put lots of signs saying "Please do not touch; saving for dinner/lunch/picnic/marriage/the apocalypse" on everything in the fridge.
