To clumsy_auror , for singing the Kassandra song: No moral compass! No moral compass! And for night after night of quality play. I mean, quality RP.

To pj_pettigrew and the players in Dream's Garden, for a novel that transported me.

I expected Milliways to be fun.

I didn't expect it to make me smarter. Or make me cry. Or give me wonderful friends.

Selkie, you've done all of that. Thank you.

But this is the beginning, not the end...I will hear of your book, and yes, you will listen to me prattle on about museums, and we will still be friends. For a long time yet, I hope.

And that's why RL really is wonderful. :)

Awww, I'll miss you!!!! And Tom will miss Kassandra very much. I'm so sorry that Real Life kept me from getting him to a thread and talking with her more. But I have all the happy memories tucked away in his journal.

Even though we've never spoken directly, you always made my mouth hang open in sheer awe at all the knowledge you poured out. Thank you for the wonderful memories! (Oh, it really is a yearbook!)

Selkie, my sweet, you cannot possibly begin to imagine how intensely I am going to miss seeing Kassandra floating around Milliways. I only wish that my characters had had more time to interact with yours. You were always a pleasure to RP with. All you ever need to say to me is, "I know of a great game..." and I will be there in a heartbeat. Perhaps that day will come. I hope so.

Even more than RPing, however, you have been a delight to talk with OOC. Please don't fall off the face of the earth. You have my IM names. Use them. Conversations with literate, intelligent, thoughtful people are always welcome, and my IMs with you have certainly fit that bill. Therefore, conversations with you are always welcome. Please don't be a stranger.

Lastly, get your arse back down here! I still want to meet you desperately, and am desolate that it didn't work out on your last visit. You only think I am kidding. If you don't come down here, I'm going up there, and you do NOT want that. Or maybe you do. In that case, don't come down here. And now I'm rambling.

Thank you for introducing me to Milliways; I followed a link there from your journal back in its early days, and was immediately enthralled (and a bit intimidated) by the fantastic RPing. My first LJ RPG, and it's been wonderful, with joy and heartbreak and friendship.

Thank you for all the wonderful threads; every single thread Kassandra was in was a joy to read. Even when you broke me into little bitty pieces.

It was fantastic fun, and I'll miss your characters around the place, and eagerly follow your journal here, as I always have.

This summer was a lifetime; I will never forget either of you. We didn't interact all that much, but you were always there with a warm meal, kind word, or a game of strip poker.
