This is why selkies should not use their opposable thumbs for typing before 8AM when they are too tired to click 'Save' regularly. I lost the Storyteller's storytelling, and rough sentences from a bit before that; maybe 500 words, but still. And it wasn't even MS Word's fault entirely. See, my laptop power cord is a failure at its job; it isn't happy or fulfilled being a power cord; but HP wants me to send the digruntled power cord home to them before they send me a new one under warranty. When I tried to explain to the service representative in Bangalore that this would leave me no means by which to recharge my battery, and thus without a computer for umpty many weeks he or she was spectacularly unhelpful. Long story short, anyway, I thought my computer had charged all night; the Battery symbol wasn't displayed, so I'm all good, right?

2% Battery. Crash.

I punt so many Lhasa Apsos over this.

Am now going back to bed. So cold. Thermostat not obeying my commands. Pesky thermostat.

Also, I washed my hair with conditioner yesterday. Cunning of me, no?
