Continuing in the vein of happy happy things, ROTK Extended's trailer just came out -- GET ME IT -- GET ME IT NOW -- no RIGHT now -- and I'm done work for today, and my girl loves me even though I Am Way Too Clingy Sometimes And I Don't Know Why.

For the first time in nigh four years, I was completely buggered at the bar today. I came back from doing the cash run and we were packed to the door, which never happens. (We use the ridiculous quart pitchers for steaming milk, for instance! We only have one half-gallon pitcher in the store!) So I'm thinking, well, let me relieve my barista and it'll clear right up, she must be tired.

Clear up. Ahahaha.

We had a $360 HOUR. I did not look up. I did not look at anything but the cups, the grease pencil, and the shots. I'm sure I burnt my fingers. I made 110 drinks, about. I ran through six gallons of whole milk, four of nonfat, five pounds of espresso, and all the cups and sleeves and lids I could reach. SO MANY CUPS. SO MANY.

AND IT WAS FUN.

I had forgotten how much fun it could be.
