The Stars and the Cookie Jar

Sonya Taaffe sold the following two books to Sean Wallace, for early 2005 releases: for Prime a short story collection, Singing Innocence and Experience, with an introduction by Tim Pratt and cover art by Socar Myles; and for the aegis imprint a poetry collection, Postcards From the Province of Hyphens, with a cover by the classical genre painter Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema.

Sonya's the one heavily responsible for MY book ever seeing the light of day, so I am pleased and proud to support her. All the stories in the collection are good ones, even! *g*

...She has a rich, deep-coloured, opulent sort of style that doesn't remind me of anything else. I have been reading her stuff for years, and it's gratifying as hell to see her in the big time.
