Ow my feet ow. But! Have networked. Have contracted a contract beyond wildest contractual dreams. Ow, my feet.
However, My New Store wearied me, and I decided to cut out of there after two hours on the floor. Or after, like, the second roach dropped into the syrups rack, or when the mop water with the dead flies in it got upset onto my shoes.
Yes. An Uphill slope it will be. *slogs*
So I fecked off to Virginia to meet my girlfriend at work, and I hope there will be dinner soon. I like dinner. Especially at this point, when my appetite has returned from a) the Panic of Taking the Metro to a STrange Place and b) the roaches. Dude, in frickin' Alabama my store had no roaches. Not in the daylight dropping down into things, anyway.
But but but. I love being back near public transit again! It's like independence, with a little card with pandas on it. I mean, I picked up and went Somewhere. Because I felt like it. How terrific! Yay for cities.
Step 4: Transit Shoes. Oh my feet.
