The Stars and the Cookie Jar

OK, this is a little late, but HOORAY!!! You're here! WELCOME TO OUR FAIR CITY! The thing you might find you like best about it is darthrami, *but* you should know that there are many other awesome things, like fine dining, and, even better, cheap, tasty dining. Also, museums which are free and easy to get to, a zoo with pandas (also free), beautiful parks and random grassy areas (well, maybe by March), fun people who want to get to know you better, and man, many other wonderful things.

Oh, yeah, and no psycho relatives as far as the eye can see. YAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAY!!!!!!!

I actually have a Fodors of the place from back when I was a tourist. I highly recommend it because the people that have lived here for years will tell you about many excellent things, but they always managed to forget a few or not even know about others. There's something about living in a place for a period of time that makes you take it for granted. I'm always reminded of that fact when I go home to the wild of IL for a visit.

But, WELCOME! And I can't figure out why I have put you on my flist yet. I think it may be because I'm a bit slow in the brain pan. I think I'll go remedy that.

I am now happy too.
